Katherine Heigl was dropped from an upcoming movie "Ensemble"

Katherine Heigl's representative has lashed out at reports that the actress was dropped from an upcoming A-list movie ensemble due to her extortionate salary demands. The "Grey's Anatomy" star, who broke into movies with 2007 comedy hit "Knocked Up," was expected to join Hollywood superstars Julia Roberts, Jennifer Garner and Anne Hathaway in romantic comedy "Valentine's Day," due to hit screens in2011. But according to online reports, the star was booted out of the casting line-up after demanding payment of $3 million dollars, despite working for a maximum of 14 days. A source close to the project tells New York gossip column PageSix that "no other actors asked for nearly that amount." However, Heigl's publicist refutes the rumors, insisting it was the actress who decided not to take part in the film. The rep tells PageSix, "The story is ludicrous. Early negotiations are a daily occurrence in this business, and just for clarification, Katherine walked away from this project for multiple reasons

Carrie Prejean may have violated her contract by campaigning against same-sex marriage.

One thing reigns supreme when it comes to the gay marriage-hating Miss California Carrie Prejean: Mass confusion. Donald Trump will reveal Tuesday whether he's telling Carrie Prejean "You're Fired!" or letting her keep her crown, but state officials just couldn't wait. While acknowledging it's Trump's decision - he owns the pageant - they took the bizarre step Monday of naming Carrie Prejean's runnerup, Tami Farrell, a special "Beauty of California Ambassador." Carrie Prejean has failed to make appearances, complained Miss California USA co-executive directors Keith Lewis and Shanna Moakler. She became a lightning rod for the gay marriage issue when she said, in reply to a question at the Miss USA pageant, that she didn't think it should be legal. Soon after, it was revealed Carrie Prejean had recently got breast implants. But the biggest controversy erupted over recently-revealed nude photographs. "Up until now we have just been riding along pretty much a passenger on this runaway train. But as of today, that ends," said Lewis. Carrie Prejean entered violated her contract, and hasn't been available for appearances, Lewis said. Moakler said Carrie Prejean's failure to reveal the photos were out there to organizers shows Carrie Prejean entered the pageant under false pretenses. "For us the severity of nudity in the one photo that Carrie Prejean has admitted was hers is not the issue. The fact that she entered the pageant and admitted it, is," Moakler said. Lewis admitted that the gay marriage controversy is also a factor. "Her message was dividing us rather than bringing us back together," he said. He blasted the National Organization for Marriage for making 21-year-old Prejean, who spoke out against gay marriage in the Miss USA pageant, its poster girl and encouraging her to shirk her pageant responsibilities in favor of "polarizing" politics. "Shame, shame, shame," he said. "Shame for doing it all the while knowing that you placed her in a position where she stood to possibly lose her crown not for her beliefs ...but for the breach of contract you so willingly encouraged." The state pageant has been investigating whether the blonde bombshell violated her contract by making public appearances for the National Organization of Marriage that conflicted with pageant business. Lewis and Moakler also revealed that they now have to go through non-pageant handlers to contact her and have been asked to provide special security for her at events. "We've never had that before: a beauty queen having to have a team of people protecting her in order to go out and create goodwill," he said. "We've been pretty much hijacked, unable to do the work at hand." He said he'll support Trump's decision either way. Prejean was named first runner-up in the Miss USA pageant on April 19. She became a YouTube sensation after she answered a question on gay marriage posed by guest judge Perez Hilton, an openly gay celebrity blogger. "I think in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman," she said.

The most interesting thing of note - his recent run-in with pop star Britney Spears at a concert in Columbus. Advertisement Barton was pulled up on stage during the concert - but that was just the beginning.


“They strapped my hands down with leather straps,” Barton told CantonRep.com. “I literally could not move.” Barton also spoke highly of the way the Lions have treated him since he was claimed off waivers last month. “If I had to pay for this and continue to pay rent in Cincinnati, I’d be breaking even,” Barton said in reference to the Lions picking up the bill for his 56-night hotel stay in Detroit for workouts. “Honest to goodness, the ownership is great here. Our training table is great. Of all the places in the NFL I’ve been, this is head and shoulders above everyone, and miles in front of Cincinnati. I never ate Cincinnati’s food.”

The Boston Legal actress welcomed twin sons, Gus and John, early Friday morning, E! News confirmed. Julie Bowen and real-estate investor hubby Scott Phillips are also parents to 2-year-old Oliver.

Julie Bowen, who has also had guest arcs on Lost and Weeds, revealed in November that she and Phillips were expecting a third child.

The couple tied the knot in 2004. Next up for Bowen is the Tim Allen-directed comedy Crazy on the Outside.

Moviemaker Stephan Elliott inadvertently got his own back on paparazzi stalking Jessica Biel on the set of his English period comedy Easy Virtue - he urinated on one. The Aussie director was filming in a Nottinghamshire field, miles from the nearest restroom when he was suddenly taken short. He recalls, "We were shooting with Jessica and it would just have been so much of a hassle to walk all the way back to the loo, so I apologised to the cast and crew, made my excuses and wandered towards a nearby bush. "I was relieving myself and I looked down and I realised I was p**sing on a photographer.


"Fortunately, he was too flustered and embarrassed to take a shot." Elliott admits he'd never want to swap places with Biel or her boyfriend Justin Timberlake, who visited the set on a couple of occasions, because he couldn't deal with their level of fame. The director adds, "We had paparazzi everywhere. These guys can't even fart without a camera being there. And there's not a lot you can do about it."
