Britney Spears appears to be giving her agent, Jason Trawick, more than his customary cut of her profits. TMZ and People are both confirming reports that he is, in fact, Britney's new boyfriend. Rumors first swirled that Britney Spears was dating Trawick back in March. The 37-year-old accompanied Britney Spears on a trip to Costa Rica and even visited her hometown in Louisiana, where he was spotted chauffeuring the pop star around in a golf cart and carrying her son, Jayden James.

Though sources close to the family denied the relationship at the time, Britney's "tight bond" with Trawick was said to be an open secret around the William Morris Agency. Sources now admit that the pair are "definitely dating," and that Britney's father, Jamie Spears, approves of the relationship.

"Britney Spears dad loves [Jason]," says one insider. "He's the best things that's happened to her." Is it just us, or does Britney Spears have a thing for men who explicitly profit off her image? Nah, that would be sort of messed up ...Source: wonderwall.msn.com
Most stars would be happy to be compared to Angelina Jolie. Megan Fox isn't one of them. "It's a lack of creativity on the media's part," the Transformers star says in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly (on newsstands June 12). "Because I have tattoos and dark hair and I was in an action movie? That's as far as the similarities extend." Adds Fox, "I'm not the next anyone." The 23-year-old actress Megan Fox says she was joking when she once said she was afraid of the Changeling star -- admits that Megan Fox has no plans to get to know Jolie.

"Megan Fox always seems otherworldly in her power and her confidence," Fox says. "I'm sure she has no idea who I am. But if I were her, I'd be like, 'Who the f--- is this little bulls--- brat who was in Transformers that's going to be the next me?' I don't want to meet her. I'd be embarrassed." Megan Fox even interjects when asked if she wanted to follow in Jolie's footsteps of starting out as a sex symbol before taking on serious roles. "Angelina Jolie was always a Method actress," Megan Fox says. "She'd been nominated for Golden Globes before she ever did Tomb Raider." Still, the star -- who admits "I'm clearly not ugly" -- isn't bothered by the fact that she's seen as a sex symbol. "I don't know why someone would complain about that," Megan Fox says. "That just means that the bar has been set pretty low. People don't expect me to do anything that's worth watching. So I can only be an overachiever. I think all women in Hollywood are known as sex symbols. That's what our purpose is in this business. You're merchandised, you're a product. You're sold and it's based on sex. But that's okay. I think women should be empowered by that, not degraded." In fact, she doesn't regret how Transformers made her "this new girl" in the industry.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, doesn't want to still be making robot movies five years from now, but when asked what the worst-case scenario would be, she says, "That I'd be on The Hills." Source: wonderwall.msn.com
Carrie Prejean has been stripped of her pageant crown for allegedly failing to fulfill her beauty queen duties, but the ousted Miss California says it's the Miss USA team that fell down on the job. According to statements from Carrie Prejean in an interview with TMZ.com Wednesday, in which Carrie Prejean said sge was "shocked" to learn she'd been "fired" by Donald Trump. "What's behind this I think is a political debate.

They don't agree with the stance that I took. Shanna is trying to bash me. They don't like me. From day one they wanted me out and they got what they wanted," Carrie Prejean said. Trump maintains the cause was breach of contract. "I told Carrie she needed to get back to work and honor her contract with the Miss California USA Organization, and I gave her the opportunity to do so," Trump said in a statement. "Unfortunately it just doesn't look like it is going to happen."
Carrie Prejean claimed that pageant exec Keith Lewis pushed her to take the $140,000 to pose in semi-nude photos for Playboy - an offer Carrie Prejean rejected. Lewis admits he presented her with a $140,000 deal from the skin mag but said he did that because she had insisted he tell about any and all promotion offers Prejean officials said Carrie Prejean has missed a slew of pageant-organized appearances and doesn't seek clearance before participating in unsanctioned activities. Not true, said a "shocked" Prejean, who hit back with explosive charges that the pageant wanted her to pose semi-nude in Playboy - an offer she nixed, TMZ.com reported on its web site.

Miss California USA Carrie Prejean, who stirred up a hornet's nest of controversy when Carrie Prejean said gays shouldn't be allowed to marry, got the word from pageant poobah Donald Trump on Wednesday: "You're fired."Trump and other pageant leaders said Prejean was being sacked not because of her controversial remarks but because she hadn't been holding up her end of the agreement she signed when Carrie Prejean entered the pageant."This was a decision based solely on contract violations, including Ms. Prejean's unwillingness to make appearances on behalf of the Miss California USA organization," the California pageant's executive director, Keith Lewis, said in a statement.Lewis had complained at a news conference last month that Prejean was skipping Miss California USA events while speaking out against gay marriage at unsanctioned appearances. After the complaints reached Trump, who owns Miss California USA's parent organization, the mogul decided to give her a second chance and keep her on. On Wednesday he changed his mind and sided with Lewis.
"I told Carrie she needed to get back to work and honor her contract with the Miss California USA Organization and I gave her the opportunity to do so," Trump said in a statement. "Unfortunately it just doesn't look like it is going to happen."Carrie Prejean spokeswoman Melany Ethridge declined to comment, saying she hadn't been able to reach the former beauty queen since the announcement of her ouster.Carrie Prejean told the television show Access Hollywood she would never have been let go from the pageant had she not replied the way she did to a judge's question about gay marriage."It's just because of my answer, I think," Prejean said Wednesday shortly after learning of Trump's decision. "None of this would be happening right now if I just said, 'Yeah, gays should get married.'"
She also denied being derelict in her post-pageant duties."I've tried to reach out to them and I've done several appearances and I'm going to be presenting at the Special Olympics this weekend as an honorary guest," Carrie Prejean told the TV show. "I mean, I've been cooperating with them. I don't see why this is happening."Source: news.yahoo.com
