Melissa Rycroft On Bachelor : "I Cry it Out"

Despite Melissa Rycroft's newfound fame and super-charged smile on Dancing with the Stars, the former Bachelor contestant still has days when she struggles after her split from ex-fiancé Jason Mesnick. "I go through stages," Melissa Rycroft told People. "I will shut down and lock myself in my room. And then I'll get to the point where I can't be by myself and I have to be around other people all the time. Otherwise I'll drive myself nuts crying. I cry it out. Then one day I wake up and go, I'm okay." The 26-year-old Dallas native also opened up about how surreal it has been to become a household name so quickly.



Melissa Rycroft said complete strangers, include American Idol judge Randy Jackson, have given her hugs for support. The two met on the lot shared by Idol and DWTS. "Just three months ago I was on the other side," Melissa Rycroft said. "I am so not a celebrity."

Between the hordes of obsessive teen girls and -- shudder -- having to "bite" Tyra Banks on national television, we thought Robert Pattinson had been tossed into the freaky-deakiest deep end of this whole Twilight craze. But Pattinson's co-star Kristen Stewart would like you to know that she's just as weirded out by screaming teen girls. "Girls are scary," Stewart told USA Today. "Large groups of girls scare the (crap) out of me." So scary that according to the paper, Stewart immediately froze up when she noticed a pack of teens walking into the restaurant where the interview was taking place. "If those type of girls saw me talking about Twilight, you don't understand,"



Stewart said, going on to mime their anticipated reaction by bugging out her eyes Manson-lamp style and holding her hands out "like claws." According to Stewart, that's nothing compared to what Pattinson is accustomed to. "They covet him," she says. "I think half of them are so jealous that they hate me." That's right, blame it on Pattinson and not your flat performance, sweetie. Stewart -- despite a few tabloid headlines and fan rumours to the contrary -- isn't involved with Pattinson in real life, and is dating actor Michael Angarano. As per E! News, the pair was photographed hanging out in Vancouver -- where Twilight sequel New Moon is currently in production. Stewart says all the RPattz hook-up rumours haven't hurt her relationship with Angarano, saying he "is totally not a threatened guy. But, dude, it sucks."
