HEIDI MONTAG - THE HILLS STARS IN MARRIAGE RUMOUR !!

THE HILLS stars HEIDI MONTAG and SPENCER PRATT are reportedly set to walk down the aisle for real.
The reality TV couple staged a ceremony in Mexico last year (Nov08), before deciding against making their marriage legal at the last minute, in footage filmed for the hit MTV series.




But now the pair has decided to make their union official with an intimate ceremony on 25 April (09) in Pasadena, California, according to E! Online.
A source tells the website, "This will be the real wedding. It's being filmed as the season finale for The Hills.".....

Will Miley Cyrus Be the Next Jonas Brothers??

If you're trying to sell out arenas, you want, perhaps even deeply desire, to be compared to the Jonas Brothers.
But if you're trying to sell out multiplexes, well...
Six weeks after the Jonases' concert movie famously underwhelmed, Miley Cyrus' Hannah Montana: The Movie hits theaters Friday, and the question arises: Will the tween franchise be the next, if you'll pardon the box-office expression, Jonas Brothers


Probably not. Which is a good thing. For Miley Cyrus.
"For Miley Cyrus, this movie is perfect," says Ashley Dos Santos, the tween social-marketing expert for Crosby~Volmer International Communications, a public-relations firm. "It's coming out at the perfect time."

In terms of the box-office expectations game, it's true: Miley Cyrus and her alter ego are catching the breaks.

Bitten by the Jonas Brothers, whose 3D Concert Experience film inspired opening-weekend talk of $30 million, but delivered only $12 million, box-office forecasters are handling Hannah Montana more cautiously.

Holdover Fast & Furious, not Miley Cyrus' movie, for one thing, is expected to finish the weekend race at No. 1, with a gross in the upper $20 millions. Hannah Montana is forecast by Exhibitor Relations' Jeff Bock to debut with about $18million to $20 million—$25 million, at best.

Neither projection would see the film match what the Jonases were supposed to do, nor what 2008's Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour did, which was basically lead everybody to believe that tween concert movies that charge 3-D prices are supposed to open with $30 million. On the other hand, the projections would put the new Hannah Montana movie in a league where, per Box Office Mojo's Brandon Gray, it belongs: "I think The Lizzie McGuire Movie is a better comparison."

Though now buried in the modern Disney Channel age of The Suite Life of Hannah School Musical, in 2003, the Hilary Duff TV-turned-movie comedy was a box-office hit, debuting with $17.4 million.

"American Idol" Overtime Pays Off for Adam Lambert

"American Idol" ran nearly nine minutes long Tuesday, preventing potentially millions of viewers who rely on their DVRs from seeing the performance of Adam Lambert -- which, in turn, affected the number of viewer votes Lambert received.

Luckily for Fox, Lambert, one of this season's most popular Idolettes, was not given the old heave-ho the next night; it was Scott MacIntyre instead who had received the fewest votes from viewers Tuesday night and was removed from the competition at the end of last night's results-and-product-plugging show.



Neither host Ryan Seacrest nor any of the "Idol" judges in any way acknowledged the show's potentially serious blunder. However, when the results show finally got down to it, Lambert was the very first Idolette Seacrest dealt with, and the host noted that the previous night Simon Cowell had had to speak for all the judges (because, of course, there had been no time for the other judges to critique Lambert's performance).




But Seacrest didn't ask Lambert how he felt about being handled differently from all the other competitors during Tuesday's show. Rather, he was asked how he felt about having received a standing ovation from Cowell.
