Madonna's reports denied by Britney

Britney Spears has denied claims that she will be joined onstage by Madonna on her "Circus" world tour. Speculation has surrounded the dates in recent weeks, with a source revealing there are big plans afoot for upcoming shows.

Last week, her supposed stylist David Alexander told a UK magazine that the Queen of Pop would make an appearance at her gig in New York. Madonna watched the Nassau Coliseum concert from the stands but did not sing, prompting Spears to issue a statement on her official website. It reads: "Despite rumours otherwise, at the moment Britney has no plans to collaborate with anyone in the near future at any of her upcoming performances.

"PS - David Alexander is not Britney's stylist nor have we ever heard of him." Spears recently embarked on the first leg of her "Circus" world tour, which includes 31-concerts in America. The tour is scheduled to touchdown in the UK on June 3, with the first of eight shows at the O2 Arena in London.

Lindsay Lohan now free from arrest warrant

LOS ANGELES (AFP) – A judge on Monday withdrew an arrest warrant for US actress Lindsay Lohan for driving under the influence in 2007, saying the starlet had been complying with the terms of her probation. Beverly Hills judge Marsha Revel had Saturday ordered the arrest of the 22-year-old star saying Lindsay Lohan had not been meeting the conditions set, which included a term in a rehabilitation program.

But early Monday the judge said after meeting with Lohan's lawyer that Lindsay Lohan "has been complying with certain aspects of the program that the program was unaware of." Lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley said the whole affair "was really much ado about nothing" and may stem from the fact that the young actress had recently left the rehab center Lindsay Lohan had been attending to go to another. Lindsay Lohan was not arrested and she did not attend Monday's hearing. The matter dates back to Lohan's arrest in May 2007 for driving under the influence (DUI) and hit-and-run. After a stay in rehab, Lindsay Lohan was caught two months later for another DUI and for possession of cocaine.

The arrests led to her serving a mere 84 minutes in jail. Lindsay Lohan was also sentenced to 10 hours of community service and three years of probation.
The queen of Hollywood party nights and a favorite target of the paparazzi, the former Disney child star was once considered one of the most promising actresses of her generation. But her career has dipped many times since 2005 amid legal woes, stops in rehab and cinematic flops. In 2008, the star of "The Parent Trap," "Mean Girls" and "Bobby," received two Razzie Awards, the satirical awards presented to Hollywood's worst actors.
